We’ll tour some wonderful art museums of Mexico City, including: Palacio Bellas Artes, Museo Soumaya, Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul house and studio, Diego Rivera’s house and studio, Museo de Antropología, Museo Mural de Diego Rivera and others. We’ll eat in some lovely restaurants and visit some sights such as Tenochtitlan - the site being unearthed (and the museum of the original city of the Aztecs), the Cathedral which is next to it and was built using the original stones from the central pyramid. We’ll see some other sites as well.

This tour will be 5 days - September 10-14.

We’ll stay in the comfortable, moderately priced Hampton Inn and Suites in the Centro Histórico which has a gym, laundry service, free breakfast service and 2 restaurants. We’ll be 5 minutes from the Zócalo, or central square of the old city.

I’m taking 6 guests only, so you’ll have lots of attention! Our driver will take us to museums not within walking distance. He will also take us to and from the airport, Benito Juarez.

I’ve been to Mexico City many times and lived in Cuernavaca, 50 miles south, for 10 years. I’m fluent in Spanish and very familiar with the area. I look forward to including you in my very personal tour!
