The Mexico City Museum Tour October 13-17 just ended - we had a great time!
This is a carefully curated tour of my favorite places and I’m planning tentative dates for tours in 2026: February 9-13, August 10-14 and October 12-16.
The weather is always mild, even in August.
We stay in the Centro Histórico near the Zócalo (main public square) and here’s a list of what we visit:
Museo Soumaya, Tenochtitlán and the Templo Mayor, the National Cathedral, Museo Arte Popular, Museo Mural Diego Rivera, Palacio Bellas Artes, Museo Valparaiso, the pyramids at Teotihuacán, Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, Museo Arte Moderno, Museo de Antropología, Chapultepec Castle, Secretariat de Educación Públic (100 murals by Diego Rivera!),
Museo Franz Mayer, Casa/Estudio Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, and the Casa Azul (Frida Kahlo’s house and museum).
We eat Mexico City style food in wonderful restaurants and we shop in great markets - such as La Ciudadela. We walk where possible and our driver takes us to places farther away.
Contact me and I’ll send you a sample itinerary.
We have a lot of fun, so come and join me in my favorite city!
Cost is $1500 per person. Text me if you’re interested at 678-713-9757 or message me at mexicomariana@gmail.com.
